Canon

The walker is the first composition of Flora’s upcoming modern jazz album Canon. The album follows an unique concept: Each piece is built around a canon of its own, while the final track brings together all the canons from the previous compositions.

In The walker Flora explores the interplay between repetition, movement and rhythmic lines. The piece was first performed in 2025 at Porgy & Bess in Vienna.
