Flora’s fascination with unconventional sounds began during her Erasmus semester at SRH Berlin, where she was encouraged to step outside her comfort zone and experiment with recording and creating sounds of her own. What started as an exploration soon became one of her favorite parts of the creative process.

For Flora sound design is about curiosity: Discovering unexpected textures, transforming familiar sounds into something new, and finding musical potential in places where it might not be immediately obvious. This approach has become an important part of both her film scoring and her own artistic work.

She is currently developing an interactive live set in which sounds are created and transformed in real time, inviting the audience to become part of the creative process.

piano compositions

The piano will always be Flora’s first and favorite instrument to compose for. She is fascinated by its versatility, its ability to be intimate and delicate in one moment, and powerful and expressive in the next. Her own compositions move primarily between neoclassical and modern jazz piano music, at the same time, she enjoys performing with different bands and collaborating with other musicians across a wide range of genres.

Alongside Flora’s work as a composer she performs solo piano music at weddings. With music that reflects you as a couple, she creates a personal soundtrack for your special day.

Flora was a real highlight of our independent wedding ceremony! The theme was ‘The lord of the rings’ , and Flora learned the songs as we requested and even created a medley for us. During the ceremony, the music was even better than we had imagined! The atmosphere was perfect. For my husband , as we walked back down the aisle at the end of the ceremony, she played an anime song, which was no problem for Flora either. Communication beforehand was seamless. Flora is a warm, kind person who takes every request to heart. We wholeheartedly recommend her.

Flora played the piano at our civil wedding ceremony. We decided to include live music quite a short notice, but we couldn’t have been in better hands. She offered us a wide, thoughtfully curated selection of her own compositions and covers suited for the occasion. Communication and organization were straightforward, and we loved her warm, open manner. She gave our ceremony a truly special touch - tears included ;)
